So, a lot of people say wvrapscene is dead or dieing or whatever... and a lot of people dont use the scene as much anymore...

this was our (WVRapScene Staff's) fault. Well, it's pretty complicated actually. there never really was a WVRapScene Staff, nobody ever done anything with the site after it was designed/built except post stuff.

I had plans on keeping everything updated with the core of WVRapScene like all the behind the scene code u guys dont see. the end user (you) just logs in and uses the site just like people do with facebook. Im hardly ever online anymore now days... i barely check my facebook! Its hard to find time to do anything working in the coal mines, spending time with my girl, and my 2 yr old son.

I dont know what happened to paycheck?!?!? I got an email saying he wanted to sell WVRapScene and also said he wasnt fuckin with it anymore. Me and Paycheck was the only 2 people that had admin/mod access to the site and could do anything with it... and we both never really did anything with wvrapscene other than post stuff every now and then.

With WVRapScene being listed on search engines like google, yahoo, ect... tons of "spam bots" crawl around looking for sites they can register on and post spam all over them. So, thats where all the spam came from. The 2 admin/mods of wvrapscene are never on here and dont do anything on WVRapScene anymore and the site became swamped with spam!

Im also VERY surprised WVRapScene hasnt been hacked yet! The core of WVRapScene needs to be updated very often... and I have not updated it since i re-did everything prob 2 years ago now! Hackers (or script kiddies) love to crawl google looking for vulnerable sites so they can "hack it" and put HACKED BY name/group and be the cool guy....

I might update WVRapScene sometime.... i dont really know when i'll get a chance to do it, but sometime in the future IF i can update everything without losing everybody's posts in the forums and stuff people have put on WVRapScene like videos and blog entries!

I dont keep up with anything on WVRapScene, so if u have been a good, active member on here, and ur wondering why u dont have admin/mod status... i'm sorry! i dont know who does what and how much time u spend on the scene or if u get along with everyone here. wvrapscene was in bad shape and we needed to add somebody quick to help fight spam and other admin stuff!
